Southgate Executive Lodging’s furnished apartment homes are housing alternatives to a traditional or extended stay hotel, which offers a lower cost while maintaining quality and customer service. Furnished apartment homes also afford more space and amenities in comparison to hotels. Southgate Executive Lodging’s furnished apartment homes are designed to bring the comforts and conveniences of your permanent home into your short-term apartment rental (also called “short rentals”).
 
What is included in a furnished apartment home?
Packages will vary depending on location and your needs but you can always expect our Southern Hospitality Standards to be met. You can view a list of all furniture and house ware items here.
 
What is included in the cost of a furnished apartment home?
Southgate Executive Lodging includes everything that will ensure a comfortable stay. We provide furniture, housewares, and utilities, including, high speed wireless internet, HD cable service, long distance phone service, water, trash removal, and 24-hour emergency maintenance.
 
Where would a furnished apartment home be located?
Southgate Executive Lodging can operate wherever you choose, specializing in temporary housing located in MS, LA, AL, and the FL Panhandle.
 
What are some of the amenities offered at your furnished apartment homes?
Depending on where you stay, you may find fitness centers, theatre rooms, volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, car care centers, business centers, meeting rooms, swimming pools, and hot tubs. Our Reservations Specialist will be able to help you determine what community is best for you based on your preferred amenities.
 
Are furnished apartment homes pet friendly?
In most cases, the furnished apartment homes are pet friendly. However, there are breed and weight restrictions, as well as, quantity limitations. Please talk with our Reservations Specialist regarding your pet, so we can help find the most suitable place for your needs.
 
How much notice is required to move-out?
A 60-day notice is required when in a lease. However, if you are on a month-to-month lease, you may give a 30-day notice to vacate.
 
What is your minimum length of stay?
Our minimum length of stay is 30 days, depending on availability.
 
What size furnished apartment homes do you have?
We can offer 1 – 4 bedroom apartment homes, duplexes, and Private Residences.
 
What are my payment options?
Our payment options include personal check, cashier’s check, or money order. Corporate invoicing is available.
 
Do you require a security deposit?
Generally, a security deposit is not required. However, each guest is required to fill out a credit card authorization form at the time of the reservation. Southgate Executive Lodging only uses this information to guarantee payment for any incidentals or charges that are not taken care of upon move out.
 
How far in advance do I need to book a reservation?
We recommend booking your reservation as soon as your arrival time frame is confirmed.
